Baking i eldhuset
Me fyrer i baksteovnen om morgonen og bakar utover dagen. Gjestene får læra å baka krotekaker på gamlemåten. Lunsjen vert sjølvlaga pizza steikt i steinovnen og nysteikte krotekaker.
Middag med vertskapet
Gjestene blir invitert på ein fellesmiddag i hovudhuset i lag med familien. Då serverer me ein heimalaga kvardagsrett med dessert og god drikke til. Varme sommardagar et me ut .
Gardshistorien til Aldevik
Me vil formidla litt av historien til dei som rydda garden og busette seg her tidlig på 1800-talet. Me prøver å vise korleis dei levde og kva ressursar dei utnytta for å få eit levebrød her.
Places of Interest
Just a few minutes away by car or a leisurely bike ride along the fjord lies Agatunet. This is an enchanting group of houses and buildings some of which have origins in the middle ages. There is a small museum and cafe and is uniquely set against the majestic mountainous background of the Folgefonn glacier . Just 4 km away at Utne is one of the oldest wooden hotels in Norway . In the same village we have the Hardanger Folkemuseum situated overlooking the conjunction of four fjords. For a day out we suggest visiting the castle at Rosendal which was the home of the last Baron of Norway. It has one of the finest gardens in Scandinavia.

There are many fine mountain trips to make from Aldevik to suit everyone from easy to very strenuous

Fishing and cycling
The fishing here is good . We have a rowing boat for you to use . We also have two sea kayaks.
Cycling along the fjord is an easy and wonderful way to get to know the area.
